Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet for Android и IOS

Trust Wallet is a mobile cryptocurrency wallet that supports multiple cryptocurrencies and blockchain tokens. It offers an easy-to-use interface for managing digital assets and conducting transactions securely. Trust Wallet also integrates with decentralized applications (DApps) and features built-in Web3 browser capabilities, allowing users to interact directly with decentralized finance (DeFi) services and other blockchain-based applications. The wallet prioritizes user security with features like biometric access and private key storage directly on the device.

Below, we will discuss the creation and setup of Trust: Crypto & Bitcoin Wallet on mobile devices:

  • Installing the app

  • Creating a new wallet

  • Activating the BNB Smart Chain network and the USDT BNB Smart Chain token (Tether USD) in Trust Wallet

  • Receiving the wallet address

Choose your operating system and download the app:

Android

iOS

Creating a new wallet on iOS/Android:

  • Launch the Trust Wallet app.

  • Tap on Get Started

  • Tap on Create new wallet

  • Tap on Back up manually

  • Familiarize yourself with Trust Wallet's recommendations regarding the secure handling of your secret phrase.

  • Check the boxes.

  • Press Continue

The Trust Wallet app will prompt you to save your secret phrase (12 words) and then enter it in the correct order.

The secret phrase is generated only once during the creation of your wallet address. It is the only way to secure and recover your wallet at any time. Never share your secret phrase with anyone under any circumstances—doing so would give that person lifetime access to your wallet.

  • Store the secret phrase in a secure place (remember, the words must be in the correct sequence)

  • Then press Continue

  • Check the words according to their number and press Confirm

  • Create a Passcode

  • Confirm the Passcode

  • Press on Start using Trust Wallet

Congratulations, your wallet has been created! Now all that's left is to set it up.

To activate the BNB Smart Chain network and the USDT BNB Smart Chain token (Tether USD) in Trust Wallet:

  1. Press on the button in the top right corner

  2. Enter bnb in the search bar

  3. Activate the BNB Smart Chain network or make sure the toggle is switched on

  4. Enter tether in the search bar

  5. Find USDT BNB Smart Chain (Tether USD) and activate the toggle

Make sure that you have selected specifically the BNB Smart Chain network and the USDT BNB Smart Chain token (Tether USD), as there are many tokens and networks with similar names.

Congratulations, the setup of your wallet is complete. You can now copy its address and begin topping it up. This address can be used for depositing both USDT BNB Smart Chain (Tether USD) and BNB on the BSC BEP20 network.

  • Return to the main screen

  • Press on Receive

  • Enter tether in the search bar

  • Find USDT BNB Smart Chain (Tether USD) and tap on it

  • Press Copy

Now you can proceed to top up your wallet.
